ASEAN Youth Climate Assembly Sets 2030 Action Agenda

Young delegates from across ASEAN met to draft a 2030 action agenda covering adaptation finance, coastal resilience, and green skills. The document will be submitted to ministers ahead of the next climate summit.

The assembly pairs youth delegates with local governments to co-design projects, an SDG 17 partnership model intended to move proposals into budgets. Priority actions include heat action plans for schools and mangrove corridors along vulnerable coastlines.
