University students collaborating on a regional SDG curriculum project

Forty-two universities across the region have formed a curriculum network that lets students take ASEAN-focused SDG courses for credit at their home campus. The shared syllabus covers quality education, civic data, and cross-border project work.

Members will co-teach a capstone in which student teams design interventions for SDG 4 gaps in their own provinces, then defend them before reviewers from partner institutions. The network also creates a common credit-transfer agreement, an SDG 17 partnership that lowers the cost of regional exchange.

  • 42 universities sign the credit-transfer pact
  • Shared SDG 4 syllabus released this semester
  • Student capstones reviewed by regional panels
